OUR MISSION

The mission of Dime Tabernacle is revival and reformation, making disciples of all people, communicating the everlasting gospel, promoting the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading all to accept Jesus as personal Savior, serve Him as Lord of lords and prepare them for His Second Coming. We pursue this mission under the direction and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit through:

Teaching.  Educating the mind and developing the character that is essential to God’s plan of redemption is the basis of all instruction. We promote a pure relationship with God and a mature understanding of His Word and Him as the Creator of the universe. We teach revival and reformation and prophetic messages as outlined in the Scriptures and the writings of Ellen G. White’s Spirit of Prophecy.

Preaching. Accepting Christ's commission (Matthew 28:18-20), we promote the scriptures, including reforms on health, dress and the law of God. We proclaim the everlasting gospel of God's love revealed in His Son's life, ministry, atoning death, resurrection and high priestly ministry in the Sanctuary of Heaven. Recognizing the Bible (KJV) to be God's perfect revelation of His will, we present its full message, including the second advent of Christ, the authority of His Ten Commandment law with its reminder of the Seventh-day Sabbath, the three angels’ messages and the Sanctuary as outlined in the Books of Daniel and Revelation.

Healing. We work with the Creator in His compassionate work of restoration through the affirming Biblical principles of the wellbeing of the whole person. We make the preservation of health and healing of the sick a priority and through our ministry to the poor and oppressed.

Dime Tabernacle Ministries has the honor of connecting people to God, Jesus Christ, and to one another in a loving and caring setting. It is our mission to empower our community to become disciples of God by learning the gospels and practicing his word.

The word “church” originates from the word “gathering” or “to gather”. This is why we so strongly cling to the notion that the church is not a building or a structure, but rather, the church is actually the believers themselves. We aim to maintain and foster a comfortable environment for our congregation to gather, build relationships, demonstrate love and share their knowledge. We believe that the Lord Almighty rewards those who take time out of each day to show their gratitude through prayer and spirituality.

Dime Tabernacle Ministries (DTM) is based in Huntsville, Alabama.  This ministry is devoted to the good of the community. We are located 2815 Sixth Avenue. The demographics in this community statistically consist of poor, underprivileged individuals and families. Many are uneducated, unemployed, single parents with children, homeless, and most importantly, they need the love of Jesus through friends like us who care.

Each year, we evangelize the community in order to increase individuals participating in DTM operationally and as church members.  In the summers of 2016 and 2017, we launched a 9 week evangelistic campaign that included 5 weeks of ground work and 4 weeks of Bible teaching seminars. These events changed the lives of many individuals in South Huntsville who are actively involved in the ministry today.

While we plan to do the work of Jesus in meeting the needs of the community, we also plan to introduce them to true Christianity which is a message of love designed to pull them out of their condition and help them obtain a new start and a new life. With violence, great immoralities and deadly ambitions, it is imperative that the working help that we desire to give be advanced. It is our design to bring the gospel of Salvation to those starving for truth, as God has it in His prophetic word. With assistance, we can address these needs frequently and more effectively.
